The sun finally emerged this morning, bringing a brief end to a 12-day spell of continuous cloud cover, heavy rain, hail and sleet. It also brought out Delilah and her piglets for half an hour’s exploration and mischief.
One of the three is a monster of a piglet. The others are about average in size. Regardless of size, though, all three were quickly rampaging through the pen as the sun launched them into “it’s spring” mode.
Delilah emerges to see what all the fuss is about. She’s a little too large and dignified to bounce about these day, preferring to make a stately progress.
Delilah joins the piglets to see if there really was anything worth eating. There wasn’t.
The Other Half was attempting to clean the floor of the pig hut, until Delilah decided to join her.
Delilah was quite appreciative of the view. She decided to settle in, make the most of the sun and enjoy the outlook.
I can’t say I blame her, especially as the rain returned 20 minutes later.

Delilah looks like a force to be reckoned with. Her piglets are so cute though!
Left you something at my site, no obligations.
Looks to me like she found the best place around to have a good sit. Smart girl!
