We’ve trained our pigs to lie down on command. In makes it a lot easier to examine or treat them if they have an injury. In return for lying down, they get scratches rubs and massages. It’s win/win for humans and pigs.
Pure contentment! We had a Bullmastiff with a severe underbite who enjoyed the same thing. Come to think on it – there is a definite resemblance between Doris and Mudge!
That is one happy pig! It will be such a huge shame if you have to liquidate the herd. Are there any other breeders who would be interested buying them after the years you have invested in their temperment, conformation and training?

OH is working late tonight so the boys had to feed the pigs & do chores. We worked out safe ways of doing things then they did the jobs. :-) Published 2 days ago
Nothing beats a pig in ecstacy!!
Mine love a back rub too, they line up at the fence for me to lean over and rub their backs, one by one down the line.
