‘It must have been the goat…’

I’m not the only one who encounters people with distinctly peculiar ideas about livestock. I was topping up our pig wallows when a neighbouring farmer wandered over for a chat. In the course of our conversation, he mentioned that his father’s farm neighbours a croft whose owner keeps pet pigs and a pet goat.
