The weather has been warmer of late, which means I’ve added maintenance of the pig wallows to my daily list of chores.
Graham, our older Berkshire boar, appreciates having a fresh, gooey, sticky, oozing, stinking wallow as he believes it gives him the pig equivalent of the “Lynx effect“.
So when I filled the wallow with water just before lunch, Graham was quick to lumber in and get himself a good coating of “hot stud mud” before trying his best ” ‘ello gorgeous” line on Daisy.
But as with the “Lynx effect”, it was of not use whatsover—just the opposite.
Seconds after I took the photo, Daisy bolted into the pig arc and laid down across the doorway.
Sorry Graham, but “hot stud mud” doesn’t seem to be in this week.

She was bored by the boar; there must be something wrong with your mud mix Stoney!
Poor Graham,he did not get to “sow” his wild oats after all.
