We often get a balmy day or two in between bad weather at this time of year. We can expect snow and frosts into March and April, so you have to be careful if you’re a gardener, farmer or crofter. At the moment, it’s 1C and raining hard.
Here in Minnesota, we have to wait until mid May to plant… just to make sure things survive. Cold tolerant plants like pansies do ok prior to mid may. We have a very short growing season.
Strangely warm weather for February, so much so that Wee 'Un & I are mowing grass. About 35mm growth so far this week. Published 16 hours ago
OH is working late tonight so the boys had to feed the pigs & do chores. We worked out safe ways of doing things then they did the jobs. :-) Published 2 days ago
Stoney, that’s a fantastic photo! Are they Doris’s?
They look like they are having fun! Is it officially springtime in Scotland? No more snow?
great picture!

Lovely photo! The piglets are cute.
They obviously want to be entered in the barrel racing at the next rodeo!
